  • SAQLAWIYAH JIDRANIYAH, means “the mares kicking while running”. The Saqlawiyah family horses have a muscling flatter and less prominent then the others, they are narrower from front and behind, with straighter hind legs. The head is very slightly narrower and longer in appearance, but with more bulge between the eyes. The ancestors of this family are the three mares: Ghazala, Om Dalal e Bint Yamama
  • DAHMAH SHAHWANYAH, in this family horses normally the head has much detailing and is short and wide with large eyes, the “dish” is extreme and ears are small, also generally hind legs are well under the body. The three mares ancestors of this family are: Obeya, Bint El Bahreyn e Farida.
  • HADBAH ENZAHIYAH means “with long mane”. This family has a large and broad head with bony details, relatively straight profile, large eyes and tiny neck also in the stallions. They have a strong built with great depth of hearth and very large shoulders. They are considered to be of great endurance and easy keepers. Horses from this family descend from the mare Venus breed from Shammar clan.
  • ABEYYAH OM JURAYS means “ high tail carriage”. They have a very upright neck carriage with small head and ears, straight hind legs, and fine bone. The shoulders are very strong, and the chest, and therefore the entire front end, appears to be very prominent. They tend to be small horses, but have good endurance and are handy on their feet, with a showy movement. The horses descend from mare El Obeya Om Jurays.
  • KOHEILAH RODANIYAH, means “with beautiful black eyes”. Koheilah type horses appear muscular, compact, and of symmetrical, rounded outlines. The back seems very strong with round and distinct muscles. Head carriage is moderately high, and the body and neck do not appear long. They have very large eyes instead ears seem relatively small. Their disposition is gentle and kind. The ancestor of this family is the mare Rodania.
